I can't think of a nicer surprise than snow on Christmas. Having lived in the mid-west we were used to snow on Christmas but in Texas it's a rare treat which I have seldom experienced in the 30 years I've lived with my family here in Allen, Texas and never on Christmas Eve or Christmas day. We make snow ice cream with snow,milk and vanilla. Kids old and young love it.
What did you get for Christmas that you were not expecting? My hb bought me a beautiful new Bible by Joyce Meyer! She has written notes of summary and explanation throughout the chapters and the print is large enough for these old eyes to enjoy reading the word.She has Life Lessons throughout as well. I have always admired her gift with words and this Bible includes her unique way of helping us understand the meaning of this beautiful text. I'm looking forwart to using it in Bible study next year.
